A member asked:

Is it normal for a crohn's disease patient to have a swollen lip on one side? my upper lip is swollen. how can i treat this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergy to medicines: Generally the swollen lip on one side is abnormal, however The first thing we need to know how long you have noticed this swelling ? What medications are you on ? Is it painful ? How big is swelling ? Is it sharply defined or vague swelling ? Any other rash on any other part of body ? Do you have any ulcers in mouth ? Are your teeth hurting ? Do you have a fever ? Any lymph nodes swollen ?
