Not likely: EGD, CT, and U/S all should or at least could have shown Hiatus hernia. This sounds more muscular by onset, like a slipped rib; but mouth burning is a mystery. Go back to your doctor and ask for an explanation or a referral. Wouldn't hurt meanwhile to try antacidds for the mouth burning problem.
