Missing data: You get more from this site when you provide more detailed information in your post. Here you have not listed the name of the medicine, how soon after taking it the kid started vomiting, any other symptoms. This may be related to the medicine or something else. If it time wise is the only thing going on I expect it is. Vomiting is natures way of removing "toxic" material. It should stop soon.
