How do you get rid of worms while pregnant? is it safe to take deworming medication?

Worms in pregnancy: The answer depends on 1) What type of worm infection you have 2) How many weeks gestation you are 3) What antibiotics are available in your country. There are some anti-worm drugs that can be used in pregnancy such as Nitazoxanide. (I don't know if it is available in Australia.) No drug should be used in pregnancy unless the benefit clearly outweighs any risk. Best wishes!
