I never would. Vigorous nasal cleaning with nasal saline is the recommended treatment of nasal congestion. The Illiadin drops have chemicals that constrict and injure the sensitive capillaries inside the nose. I never use it in infants.

Please indicate what the symptoms are of concern. Newborns often have congestion which is not related to infection. Nasal saline drops may be used but the symptom should self resolve. If the baby is not feeding well, has a fever, cough, diarrhea, or other symptoms, please see your Pediatrician.
