Popliteal Isssues: Popliteus Muscle-Tendon-Ligament Complex PMTL, an anatomic aggregate of the popliteus muscle (PFL), the femoral insertion of the popliteus tendon, the popliteomeniscal fascicles and soft tissue attachments to the lateral meniscus, and the proximal tibia. Pain/tenderness at the back of the knee can suggest a tear which is graded, an ensopathy at prox myotendinous-See your doc for differential dx-tx
