Black stools are ...: Concerning. With the symptoms you describe, that could suggest that you are having an intestinal hemorrhage. Please seek an in person evaluation. One thing to be aware of though, is that if you have taken Peptobismol for the diarrhea, this can readily make your stools black!

Stool test for blood: It is imperative that you stool be tested for blood. If positive, you may need further testing, e.g., colonoscopy.
