A member asked:

Can a burning pain in bottom of foot along with stiff back be related? had a miscrodisectomy in 2015, but never had a burning pain in bottom of foot.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: This symptom could be caused by some impingement on a spinal cord area causing referred symptoms to the foot. A neurologist could perform an examination and an EMG to determine whether there is some nerve or nerve root impingement. If there's burning or tingling in both feet, a peripheral neuropathy would be likely instead of a disc problem.
