Sinusitis: Chronic allergic rhinosinusitus or chronic fungal nasal infection could give you thick white stringy mucus. It may be interrupting your sleep and causing daytime sleepiness or even memory loss. You should consider having your primary care provider evaluate this condition before damage to the sinuses occurs.

Sinus mucus : Please start by seeing you doc and doing what he/she advises. After that you can consider a natural spray product called Xlear. It breaks up the bio-film where germs breed and is pleasant tasting. Peace and good health.

Vapor inhalation: Agree with Dr. G. One additional item you may wish to consider steam/vapor inhalation. Keep hydrated, drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, and get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health! Nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
