Not a big concern: The green color likely signifies a stagnation of mucus deep in the nasal or sinus passages. When white blood cells are in an aerobic environment (without oxygen) they can give rise to a green or yellow. mucus. Allergies, infection , and irritation from air pollution can cause the mucus. Have you tried a saline nasal rinse? If not you can look up a homemade saline solution or buy one at the store
