Per Drugs.com Drug interaction checker: "Using diazepam together with diphenhydramine may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination".
