Uknown: We don’t fully know the threshold for which the number and severity of injuries to the head can cause CTE. Some athletes can seemingly have the same amount of trauma, one develops it and the other does not. Hopefully will know much more in near future. Boxers and football players would seemingly have highest risk. If you are having symptoms, don’t hesitate to see neurologist.
