Hang in there...: Evaluation for possible infertility is recommended after a year, with regular unprotected sex especially mid-cycle. So keep trying, but check with your doctor if not successful after 5 more months. However, spotting for the entire second 2 weeks of the cycle definitely isn't normal. Not necessarily related to your failure to conceive, but still should be checked by a gynecologist. Good luck!
