A member asked:

I love using the computer and playing videogames, got a concussion and couldn't stop doing those activities, will that make me not recover?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May delay recovery: It maybe helpful to think of your brain in the same way you would your ankle. You probably wouldn’t go for a run immediately after spraining your ankle. Tissue needs relative rest in order to heal properly. Similarly resting the brain promotes healing from a concussion. Video gaming may delay healing. Not being able to stop suggests video gaming suggests another, more serious problem.
