In the morning i wake up with a sore throat, and bring up phlegm, my tongue is white and mouth is dry throughout the day, what could this be?

Cold or allergy: Sounds like you have a common cold, perhaps with mild bronchitis, or allergy. If this is new and only lasts a few days, probalby a cold. If longer lasting, maybe an allergy problem. If you're a smoker, that's probably the cause. It doesn't sound serious, but if the problem continues and/or you remain concerned, see your doctor.
