Ask: By 2 a kid should be able to tell you if their teeth or gums hurt. I wouldn't call it teething but they can have tooth or gum discomfort at any age.

Yes: 2 year and 3 year molars (baby teeth) are still erupting. Please see Dentist for evaluation. Standard of Care is that ALL children have their 1st Dental Examination no later than their 1st b'day. If child is in pain would recommend seeing a Pediatric Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist, for immediate care. This is out of the realm of care provided by a Pediatric Medical Specialist, a Pediatrician.
