Yes: Colds are independent of teething and are caused generally caused by a virus. Use a gentle saline solution often and elevate the baby’s head, keeping the room cool and not too dry. Follow up for wheezing, trouble breathing ,feeding difficulties or fever. All the best.

Pediatrician: Consult a pediatrician. Occasionally you do get symptoms like pain in the mouth, baby getting cranky & crying. refuse to drink the milk, occasionally diarrhea, stomach pain, mild fever etc. Rule out other problems first. An experienced pediatrician can guide you well.
