A member asked:

Is it normal for blood pressure to be low when lying down (95/55) and normal when standing (109/68)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Yes- Blood pressures tend to be lower lying down than sitting or standing, and the values quoted are reasonable and not dangerous. Low blood pressure is only dangerous if there are are accompanied symptoms associated with the low pressure, such as fainting of dizziness.
