The "hedge": It is common for a radiologist to hedge their official reading when no firm diagnosis can be made on an x-ray. Haze (opacities) just means the area is denser than other areas. It might be you didn't take a deep enough breath to inflate the area (making it less dense), or old thickening is present. The other wording just means they found nothing definite that would require treatment.
