Varies: Multiple potential causes. The idea that it you have a warm sensation but does not actually look abnormal or feel warm suggests it may possibly be nerve related as in a neuroma or a compression neuropathy. There are multiple other potential causes as well. Don’t hesitate to be seen and evaluated for it.
