Live in moderate climate temp is 35f my lungs swell and hard to breathe happens every year doc says to wear a face mask/take inhaler steroid normal?

Mild asthma ??: I would try to get clarification from your doc on the condition being treated. This pattern of symptoms suggests environmentally triggered asthma. The daily inhaled steroid would be common during periods of symptom increase. If your symptoms abate with this minor level of treatment it is good, but a more thorough evaluation & plan of treatment may be needed since it could get a lot worse.
