Probably viral: Sounds like asthmatic bronchitis, a temporary asthma triggered by an infection which is usually viral. Doctors routinely give antibiotics for bronchitis but research shows antibiotics don't help. Ask your Dr. for an albuterol inhaler to help you breathe. Pelargonium sidoides, a herb sold as Umcka, is proven to help bronchitis. I have great success treating bronchitis with homeopathy. See comment:
