How can i sleep? i had a pe and any pressure on my chest or back makes me cough and choke on mucus so i can't lie on bed or sit back on chair.

PE: This is an unusual reaction following pulmonary embolism and lung damage. It may simply be due to a postnasal drip or some reflux,but a physician or pulmonologist should carefully examine your chest and lungs to ensure that there is no active lung inflammation present.
