Depends: A minimal straw colored discharge is a common normal lead up to first menses, lasting up to 6 mo. Heavier discharge with color & definite odor may reflect a retained foreign material like feces or toilet tissue that somehow made it into the vagina. Ending it may require exam under anesthesia and flushing the vagina.
