Is it good to apply benzoyl peroxide to get rid of pimples ?

Yes.: Benzoyl peroxide gel is a good starting point for treating mild to moderate acne. A good, healthy diet, avoiding squeezing and picking at pimples are also important things to do. If there is no or only minimal improvement, then a more advanced topical would be in order. Oral antibiotics are possibly effective in some patients.
