See a dermatologist: This sounds like a deeper, more inflammatory lesion and will not likely respond to topical treatment. Sometimes these lesions respond to oral antibiotics and occasionally they may need to be treated with a low dose injected steroid. See your dermatologist to help determine what is going on and what would be best for you.
