If you try the: RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) for your joint and take some ibuprofen/ tylenol around the clock for 24 hours, along with topical ointment or massage therapy, and things are not improved, then you may need to do further stretching for 24-48 hours. If it continues to hurt around the "hip" area, it may be inside the belly where the problem lies. Go see a healthcare provider then.
