Social services: Please talk to someone at the doctor's office or hospital and ask about what type of social service insurance they will accept and then help your dad apply for it. The process may take a while but hopefully he will eventually get some sort of assistance. If he is elderly you can consult the agency for aging in your county or contact the welfare department. Peace and good health.
