Nonspecific: Your symptoms are nonspecific but could be due to simple indigestion, an early viral gastrointestinal tract infection or some food intolerance. For now, take in liquids or eat only soft,bland foods, drink flat ginger ale to settle nausea and rest. Diarrhea may develop for which kaopectate helps. Persistent abdominal pain,vomiting,abdominal distension or black stools call for an urgent evaluation.
