Sx duration.: Normally symptoms last 4 to 7 days but you may be infectious for a month. Assymptomatic carriers can transmit infection for many months.

Stool culture needed: If you are still having nausea and cramps you are probably still harboring the disease. Get a stool culture when symptoms recede.
