A member asked:

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and have i cramps similar to menstruation pains, is this normal or should i go to the dr?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be preterm labor: If getting rhythmic cramping or regular contractions, it may be preterm labor. One can be checked by her Ob-Gyn doctor. That may mean going now to the hospital's Labor and Delivery ward to be monitored to see what is going on, depending on how the doctor handles these issues at 6 months gestation. Meanwhile avoid physical activities, having sex, and bumpy car rides... until ok'd by the doctor.
