How long can athletes foot fungus live on surfaces (tabletop and carpet) and in shoes? i had and treated this in summer 2017.

The fungus thrives in warm & moist environments. This fungus is commonly found in showers, on locker room floors, and around swimming pools. In some environments this fungus can thrive indefinitely unless the area is cleaned well with disinfectant.
