There is a small red and protruding skin tag in my tear duct. it moves back into the duct when touched but comes out again. will it go away by itself or should i consult with an ophthalmologist?

IfOccurred: Unlikely: Given it has developed, then something is triggering/promoting to skin to overgrow into a tag, though that does not mean any physician understands why: http://goo.gl/Blh6rW. However, that does not mean there is any necessary harm in waiting a while to see if the nasolacrimal duct is not blocked & not infected.
