Wearing Retainers: Good day; Specialists in orthodontics offer a fixed splint that is placed on the back surfaces of the upper and lower front teeth. If u don't fiddle with these devices the anterior teeth will remain PERFECT. If a potion of the tooth movement included the back teeth, retainers are necessary or u risk the shifting post orthodontics.

Alternatives include fixed lingual retainers, Essex retainers, Vivera retainers, or adjusting your Hawley retainers to make them thinner and smaller. If you don't wear retainers your teeth will wander guaranteed. It's not like putting steel posts into concrete. A specialist Orthodontist should be able to help.
