Blocked milk duct: Any new breast mass should be evaluated. Your doctor can confirm that the mass is a blocked mild duct. Imaging via mammogram or sonogram can be done if the doctor feels it is needed. Most blocked milk ducts resolve on their own. Massaging the area can help. Estrogen levels would not normally be a part of the evaluation
