What can be the cause of red rash in my belly button?

Infection?: Other than infection could be an allergic reaction which came in contact with an allergen such as cream or laundry detergent on the clothes can cause it. In terms of infection i would think first a yeast infection. See a dermatologist . If you do not want to do that apply otc cream for a yeast infection on the affected area and change laundry detergent and see if it will make any difference.
