A member asked:

What causes high triglycerides...does testosterone shots cause it....i went from 86 last year to 179 this year.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I would not worry: These fluctuate wildly. And during my forty years in medicine, despite MUCH effort by many people, nobody's showed a convincing link between triglycerides and anything common-and-bad. If you exercise, they tend to go down and I think this is why low triglycerides is considered healthy.
