Hi, i am currently taking lansoprazole 30mg once a day for my stomach pain & sour taste in mouth. it doesn't work, then i started 2 times a day since last friday. i wonder if i am taking 2 times a day save?

Compliance with ther: PPI therapy fails either partially or completely in up to 30% of patients. PPI should be taken before breakfast,small meals, avoid late meals,elevate head end of bed.Avoid fatty/Fried foods. Adherence to timing,consistency, and atleast trial for1-2 wks of one a day, before you jump to twice a day. If all above fails ,time to See Gastroenterologist for further work up, possible EGD
