Hepes hearing loss: Herpes simplex infection is known to cause hearing loss in adults and in the new borns.In a dutch study they found that a combination of Prednisone and Acyclovir was able to reverse some hearing loss induced by hsvvirus in animals but study has not been done in humans.But that combination may be tried by some to reverse the hearing loss
