See Your Doctor Now: Your daughter’s symptoms: high fever with sore throat point to an infection of the upper respiratory tract. In particular, Strep throat can cause these symptoms as well as nausea/vomiting and requires treatment with antibiotics. However Strep is not the only concern as there are other infections that can cause these symptoms. Medical examination is strongly recommended. See your doctor now.
