A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: A regular cold, caused by one of over 100 strains of cold viruses, usually causes a couple days of mild fever, some runny nose and cough for a week, plus a few days of aches and tiredness. Mono from EBV virus can seem like a cold at first, but symptoms last longer and can cause prolonged fatigue. Tonsils and neck glands (lymph nodes) get swollen. Doctor can check for a strep throat infection too.
