Panoramic X-ray: Good day; A panoramic radiograph is recommended every 3-5 years. Besides illuminating oral growths, cysts, periodontal disease and evaluating wisdom teeth; the PANO complements a thorough oral and facial examination.

Probably not: A Panoramic x-ray or full mouth series of peri-apical (around the roots of the teeth) x-rays is recommended every 3 years or so. Of the two choices, a Panoramic survey discloses a wider area.
