Depends: If the kid pees at least every 6-8 hrs and is otherwise active and thriving I would not be particularly concerned. If going once every 10-12 hrs I would wonder why & want to evaluate the kid. Some of the advanced diapers have rapid absorption features that make it hard to detect urine. A square of toilet tissue placed inside will allow you to have a visual record of small volume events.
