Have it seen: From your description the kid may have a bacterial sore throat & ear infection that requires prescription meds. Proper treatment will require an in person exam. If you choose to give it some time at least give the kid some ibuprofen for the fever & monitor fluid intake. As long as the kid can pee every 6-8 hours they are not dehydrated.
