Pain post D&C: Muscle tightness is usually unrecognized secondary to the anxiety on a patient's part about having even a minor surgical procedure done. If your procedure were done under local or general, there is still some residual tensing of muscles, which like any skeletal muscle exercise can be sore for 24-48 hours. If you develop an increased temp, see your surgeon .
