A member asked:

Had loss of consciousness event but no tongue biting or incontinence. normal eeg, mri. does this rule out seizure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lost consciousness: Loss of consciousness is serious, and if the head MRI is normal as well as the EEG, although seizures are not ruled out, it may be related to a heart condition or "arhythmia" in heartbeat, like atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. See a cardiologist to be certain of the cause.
