Maybe/not: I consider it a higher potency steroid than I would use in the skin of the eyelid. However, I don't have the benefit of seeing how angry or thick your skin there is. I would usually limit that area to 1/2 to 1% hydrocortizone but your situation may require it for a short time, with a move to lower potency steroid when the area thins.
