Pregnancy/life risk: The greater risk to your pregnancy and your life is not bumping the curb at 5-10 mph, but not wearing a seat belt and having a collision period. A placental tear under that circumstance would be the least of your concerns. Wise up! Don't put your fetus and you at risk. Wear a seat belt always when driving or riding in a vehicle.
