Prednisone : It is an anti inflammatory which helps to reduce swelling in the sinuses where the infection is not bacterial but viral Good Luck

Odd treatment: Prednisone is not an immune system booster. It can help stabilize inflamed membranes like those in sinusitis, but over time at high doses it can suppress the immune response. Prednisone mimics a natural stress hormone made by humans. You did not cite your dose, which matters a lot.
