I am 9 days late with my period cycle day 41 and have had very bad cramps and stomach cramps. i've been pregnant before but my 2 tests were negative.

Some thoughts...: One's primary care doctor can evaluate to see what abdominal problem may be causing symptoms. In a woman with regular periods, some causes of a late period include: excessive weight loss or gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (like birth control pills), hormonal imbalances, etc… Pregnancy tests are very accurate by 9 days after a period was due.
